FAQs
Where/when do the trials take place?
I recommend trials done 4-12 weeks prior to wedding day, and are done my home studio mon-fri :)
Do I need to bring anything for the trial?
Please bring some inspiration photos along, we can then discuss everything what you do and don't like and together decide on the perfect makeup style for you :)
How long does a trial take?
I give us 2hours for a trial, this will be for one chosen makeup look. We can change lipstick colours if you're ensure, and add blush, bronze, sparkle. I just cannot remove colour :)
How long do you need on the wedding day?
I give myself 1hr 15mins on the wedding morning, however the brides turn in the chair will not be rushed, the bride will have her time to sit and relax and have a moment of peace and quiet before the busy last hour. I normally prefer to do the bride 2nd to last, this allocates enough time for her!
What is your cancellation policy?
If the client cancels no less than 12 weeks before the event date, then no further payment is required. If the client cancels no less than 8 weeks before the event date, then a further 50% of the event fee will be due. If the client cancels no less than 4 weeks before the event date, then the full amount of the event fee will be due. The client can cancel a trial at any point; however, a trial cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged for at the agreed rate. Cancellations by the makeup artist due to circumstances including, but not limited to, problems rendering the artists performance of their obligations where no other suitable alternative can be given, a full refund will be given to the client. No further compensation will be offered. If the booking is directly affected by circumstances beyond the control of the makeup artist where possible, the makeup artist will endeavour to rectify such situations; however, no compensation will be offered on the artists part. It is strongly advised that you take out wedding insurance to cover you against these situations.
