Hi! We are Alix and Saera Morris, The Purple Twins.
We provided a high standard, professional makeup service for all occasions and events, specialising in bridal makeup.
Both trained and qualified makeup artists with an equally impressive skill set.
We have 5 years of qualified experience in wedding, occasion, event, photoshoot and theatre makeup. But have been utilising our natural makeup skills for over 10 years.
We are based in South West London but travel all over London and are always happy to travel further to areas such as Kent, Essex, Surrey, East Sussex, Hertfordshire.
We offer great, helpful & insightful trials to all wedding and occasion makeup enquiries at a very good rate.

FAQs

Where/when do the trials take place?

A trial will take place on a date that suits yourself and the rest of your bridal party best. We usually ask you to come up with 3 dates that work best for you, and we will confirm the best date for us out of those 3. We usually recommend that the trial takes place at leat 2 weeks before your wedding date. We also recommend the trial take place in the comfort of your own home. We understand that it can be difficult to pick a date that everyone can be available for. So we are happy in this circumstance to spread the trial over 2 dates to accommodate everyone.

Do I need to bring anything for the trial?

If you have any allergies or special skin requirements then we usually ask you to bring your own makeup bag that you use everyday, for us to have a better idea of the type/brand of products that are kind to your skin. We may have those products in our kit already, but its always better to be safe when it comes to your skin. So if you feel more comfortable using some of your own products that you get on well with, that's absolutely fine with us.

What is your cancellation policy?

Deposit - We require a 25% non refundable deposit of the full fee to confirm your booking. Cancellation Policy - If you cancel within 14 days of the confirmed date we will require a further 25% of the full agreed fee as a cancellation fee. Everything is carefully explained in detail when booking and we do not confirm until yourself and your party fully understand these policies.

When do your require final payment?

We require final payment on your wedding day/event. No later. We accept cash or bank transfer. Happy to issue receipt if needed.

How long do you need on the wedding day?

This really does depend on so many things... How many people require makeup? What style of makeup would you like? If you will require hair styling also? etc. So we usually don't like to say how long we will need on the day until we know all the exact details. After the trial we will know exactly how much time we will need on the day.

Contact Artist

We will store your enquiry for 1 year and a minimum of 3 months after your wedding date, if provided. This is so that the artist can always refer to it if needed. After this time your enquiry will be automatically deleted.
