I've been a makeup artist for over 20 years in both Media & Advertising, Photoshoots, Celebrity and private clients, and Bridal (concentrating, these days, in the latter two). I absolutely love my work and my clients and love to bring my expertise into the bridal field and make my clients feel confident and stunning on their wedding day. Although I only have skills in Make Up, I have a great network of hairstylists that I work with regularly and can provide the right stylist for my clients depending on location, budget or preferred look. I use high end products and even a Vegan kit for those requiring It. I can cater for all skin tones and can handle any look from the barest minimum, natural makeup to full on glamour or Asian Bridal style.

This is a picture I took at a brides trial who wanted to take her makeup from daytime to night. A simple lip colour, in this case, did the trick. This incredibly beautiful pale skinned bride had issues with sensitive skin. We worked throughout the year to get her on a regime of tried and tested products as she was having some skin treatments which made her even more prone to reaction to products. Also, the light sensitive cream she had to use made makeup slip easily. We found the perfect combination of products to not react with her and that lasted all day. This makeup is natural, without being barely there, classic by giving scope to take it from daytime to evening with a simple lipstick change, and elegant with a twist of glamour in the application of individual lashes. Where/when do the trials take place?
I usually do my trials at my studio in West London (Notting Hill) but can come out to you, if necessary, for a small extra cost
How long does a trial take?
A makeup trial can take between 1.5 and 2 hours
What deposit do you require?
I take the price of the trial as a deposit to save the actual wedding date
What is your cancellation policy?
Please refer to my Terms and Conditions on my website www.melkinsman.com for cancellation policy
When do your require final payment?
Final payment for the bride is to be made after the trial to confirm the booking. Any other payments for additional bridal party members and any travel costs or products purchased, will need to be settled about 1 or two weeks before the wedding date
How long do you need on the wedding day?
An hour per person would comfortably take care of all in the bridal party, arrival and setting up and packing up
What additional services do your offer?
I can provide a hairstylist if needed
