FAQs
What deposit do you require?
To book any type of trial appointment a £50 non refundable booking fee is required. This secures the wedding date in the diary. The remaining balance of the trial price is due 1 week (7 days) before the trial date. For wedding day appointments, 50% of the total fee is due within 1 week (7 days) of the trial date to secure the wedding date in the diary. This fee is a non refundable booking fee. The remaining balance is then due 8 weeks (56 days) before the wedding date. For Weddings that fall before the 8 week period, the full balance will be due 1 week (7 days) after the Trial Appointment
Where/when do the trials take place?
We would recommend booking your trial anywhere between 3 and 6 months before the Wedding Day, however we are able to work to your schedule depending on availability so please just ask if you have a specific date in mind. We can accommodate a trial booking on either a weekday or weekend. We travel to you for your trial so that you are in the comfort of you own home.
How long does a trial take?
Makeup or Hair only trials generally take 1 and a half hours whereas trials for Hair and Makeup combined generally take around 3 hours.
Do I need to bring anything for the trial?
You do not need to bring anything to your trial as we bring everything to you - full hair and makeup kit including skincare, lashes and lighting. The only thing we would suggest is wearing something with a similar neckline and colour to your wedding dress so we can see how the hairstyle and makeup look alongside this as it helps to get an idea of the overall look. It is important to tell us in advance of any skin sensitivities or allergies, and whether or not you will be having a spray tan for you wedding. We will send you a Booking Form for you to fill in with this information.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you cancel your wedding date appointment 8 weeks (56 days) or more before the date the 50% already paid is retained. If you cancel your wedding day appointment with less than 8 weeks (56 days) before the wedding date, then unfortunately 100% of the fee is retained due to not being able to fill this date at the last minute. If due to unforeseen circumstances your wedding date needs to be rescheduled to an alternative date we will try our best to accommodate you based on availability and subject to the above cancellation terms. A £100 admin fee will be added to your invoice for this.
How long do you need on the wedding day?
This differs depending on how many people there are in the bridal party in addition to the Bride. For a Bride having both Hair and Makeup services we like to allow a 3 hour slot with time after that to get into your dress, have any photos taken and then last minute touch ups before you leave for the wedding venue. Upon booking with us we will put together a detailed itinerary for the wedding morning highlighting arrival time for the hair and makeup artist and a schedule for the bridesmaids if applicable.

Unlike some other companies out there we do not have a minimum spend, nor do we differ our prices during the summer months (peak season). Our prices remain the same all year round with the exception of Destination Weddings.
Please note that depending on your venues access time and/or numbers in the bridal party, it may be necessary to have additional hair and makeup artists to make sure everyone is ready on time in a stress free manner. This will be an additional £150 per artist and we will communicate with you at the booking stage as to whether this will be required.
