FAQs
What booking fee/deposit do you require?
A £80 non refundable booking fee is taken upon booking your wedding date. The booking fee will be redeemed against the wedding day invoice. The booking fee is non refundable, and your date is open to other brides to book unless it is paid.
How long does a trial take?
2 hours. We can look through your pinterest, any looks you like, colours you love, things you hate. You will leave with a complete face chart of all products used, a full gorgeous bridal look and any other recommendations from me. BUT the trial isn't just to find a look that suits you, but also for us to get well acquainted. I want you to feel comfortable with me :)
Where/when do the trials take place?
Trials either take place at my home studio in Rossendale, Lancashire or I will travel to you if it is a group trial. Travel charges will apply. I usually say do the trial when you are due an evening out, or when you know your friends/family will be around so you can show them the finished look! I've done trials on the day of the hen party before - all the bridesmaids had theirs done too! I would say the trial should be done 4-3 months before the big day. You can also book multiple trials, if you want to try a few different things.
Do I need to bring anything for the trial?
WEAR A WHITE/IVORY TOP - It makes all the difference! If your dress is white/ivory that is ;) I'd say some photos of makeup you like always helps! If you are allergic to anything please also let me know. Also - bring your opinion! If you do not like something I am very open - TELL ME :)!
How long do you need on the wedding day?
1 hour for everyone ideally. Flower girls around 5 minutes if you have booked my Glitter & Gloss service. *Please note, I also freshen everyone up before I leave. Lips, powder, setting spray! Depending on the booking size as to how long but usually just a couple of minutes with each person!* I will make a schedule to follow for the day so we know where we are up too, and this is great to give to your hair stylist so we can work around each other.
What additional services do your offer?
GLITTER & GLOSS Service. Do you have any little flower girlies who love makeup and would love to be involved? They will come and sit in my chair and have a little bit of makeup on, lipstick/gloss, blush and a sparkle eye shadow usually. This is also complimentary - I don't charge for this service as it takes me 5 minutes. Charlotte Tilbury do this amazing product called 'Supermodel Body' which is a very soft glowy shimmer body cream. Google it! Its gorgeous and doesn't transfer. I don't charge extra for things like this, it's just always in my kit and a gorgeous little add on to complete your look!
What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel at anytime but the non refundable booking fee will not be returned, nor any other monies already paid for the trial/wedding date.
When do your require final payment?
The final payment is due 30 days before the big day. All payments are to be made via bank transfer to my business account. You will receive everything on an invoice with the relevant dates and information on.
