A little rain couldn't dampen the shine on Harriet and Sam's May wedding day, which took place in the beautiful Kent countryside. In shades of green and white, it was a classic country celebration, filled with whimsical white florals and gorgeous greenery. From the romantic gazebo ceremony to the elegant reception, it was smiles all round, all day long. The beautiful bride looked extra lovely thanks to the talents of Make Me Bridal pro, Lauren Gamble Makeup Artist.

For her bridal makeup, Harriet wanted a subtle glam makeover, with beautiful glowing skin. She had chosen a wedding gown with simple lines but beautiful detailing, and paired it with simple jewellery. To enhance this less-is-more look, Lauren worked closely with the hair stylist to create a beautifully simplified overall look. Harriet’s relaxed but elegant ponytail paired perfectly with the glowy, subtly defined makeup that Lauren created for her.

The wedding took place at Quex Park, a country house wedding venue situated within 250 acres of gardens and wooded park. The Victorian-style gazebo in the gardens was an ideal place for a spring bride and groom to say “I do” (even with a few May showers!), and Harriet and Sam were surrounded by friends and family as they said their vows. The dining room is a blank canvas space, which worked perfectly with the couple’s timeless green and white colour palette that brought the natural beauty of the outdoors in. Tables were decorated with crisp white linens and garlands of greenery, and each guest received seeds as a favour.
