Lucy and Martyn’s wedding took place in December last year, with The Old Kent Barn serving as the perfect backdrop for their special day. From the bridesmaids' jade velvet dresses and faux fur wraps to the stunning floral arrangements, these rich hues truly captured the essence of the season. Speaking of details, we can't forget to mention the gorgeous makeup done by Make Me Bridal pro, Lauren Gamble Makeup Artist, for the bride and her bridesmaids. Lucy looked positively radiant! Read on for more about this stunning winter wedding and all of the moments that made it so wonderful.
Lucy's makeup for her winter wedding was nothing short of flawless! Lauren used her expertise to create a warm smokey eye, featuring neutral colours that complemented the bride's jewel-toned theme, and made a smooth transition from day to night. The look was completed with strong defined brows, long lashes, and a dusty rose lip, which all helped to highlight Lucy's natural beauty. Her hair was styled by Sian Brown into a chic chignon with loose tendrils framing her face, creating a timeless and elegant look that paired perfectly with her off-the-shoulder wedding gown.
The Old Kent Barn provided an elegant rustic setting for Lucy and Martyn's winter wedding. The deep jewel tones of jade and emerald green, sapphire blue, and touches of teal and gold were woven throughout the decor, along with white flowers and lots of greenery. Christmas tree baubles at each place setting added a festive touch to the December celebration. The ceremony took place in the barn under a stunning floral arch, with a backdrop of twinkle lights and candles creating a truly romantic atmosphere. The reception was also held in the oak-framed barn. The Old Kent Barn's landscaped grounds made for memorable photo opportunities, especially with atmospheric up-lights and fairy lights placed throughout the gardens.
