The splendour of autumn meets boho style in this gorgeous styled shoot brought to life by a talented team of wedding suppliers from Norfolk, Suffolk, and Cambridgeshire. Make Me Bridal pro, Yuki Black, and Romy McGuigan of English Rose Photography were inspired by their love of autumnal colours to create a styled shoot that highlighted the natural beauty of Wellington Wood. They shared their mood board and challenged their dream team of collaborators, led by photographer, Laura Williams, to use their exceptional creativity and let their imaginations run wild. The results speak for themselves! Whether you’re looking for seasonal wedding ideas or free-spirited boho bridal style inspiration, you’ll find plenty here to love. Bridal hair artist, Yuki Black, wanted the hair to look soft and casual but with an elegant boho feel. For the first of the models, she chose an easy-to-achieve updo with lots of body, texture, and volume. For the second model, Yuki opted for a half up half down style, keeping the bride’s beautiful long hair as smooth and natural as possible. If you’re a bride with fine hair who still wants gorgeous volume, this look is a great choice. Both hairstyles were beautifully accessorised by Wendy Hook of Vintage Adornments, who custom made the stunning tiara and ornate hair pins in autumn colours. The final looks combined perfectly with makeup artist Danielle Baker’s rustic, earthy tones.
The colour palette for the shoot utilised the most beautiful autumnal shades: terracotta, burgundy, gold, white, and cream. Every detail conveyed the seasonal boho aesthetic, from the cake decorated with dried flowers and a hammered copper effect tier to the table plan and signage, and from the bespoke boho dresses to the on-trend dried flowers. The setting, which caught Yuki’s eye straight away, is located in Thetford and was a huge inspiration in itself, as well as a spectacular outdoor backdrop.
