Lizzie and Tom from Macclesfield, Cheshire, have been together for a decade and finally tied the knot this summer in this charming, golden-hued celebration. From the traditional church ceremony to the pub reception, this is everything you could hope for in a country wedding! The bride’s style was classic with a modern twist, with gently waved hair and soft glam neutral golden makeup. To create the look, Lizzie worked with Make Me Bridal pro, Hannah Cliffe MUA, who she found right here on Make Me Bridal. Despite the sweltering summer weather, Lizzie and her bridesquad looked fresh and gorgeous all day long thanks to Hannah’s talents, from the vows to the dancefloor!
Lizzie wanted a look that was timeliness but glamorous, so Hannah created a soft Hollywood-style wave, parted in the centre for a more modern look. She also had a veil and a clay floral headband that perfectly matched the floral design on her wedding dress. For the makeup, the focus was on enhancing Lizzie’s natural features but adding a splash of glam. Hannah used a golden pigment on her eyes from Peaches and Cream in the shade ‘Wish’. She paired this with a small winged liner and some individual lashes to enhance her own. The skin was perfected with a matte medium coverage and a light wash of bronzer and blush. For the lips, Hannah opted for a deep nude gloss, which enhanced and plumped Lizzie’s natural lips.
The reception took place at The Windmill, a charming country pub in Adlington. The couple chose a warm palette of greens, oranges, whites, yellows, and wine for their floral arrangements, which worked beautifully with the bridesmaids’ attire. The girls all wore Six Stories Official dresses in different shades of champagne, peach, and mauve, which Hannah complemented with their golden neutral makeup.
