The wedding of Khloe and Glenn was a stylish soiree set in the very heart of cosmopolitan London. The look was rustic vintage with a chic contemporary twist, perfectly reflecting the city itself. From a quirky ceremony venue to a reception overlooking the Thames filled with chic pastel floral arrangements and fun touches like London bus keyring favours, everything about this celebration was stylish and fun. Make Me Bridal pro, Alyse Baker Artistry, was on hand to create the bride’s look, complete with a bold red lip that stole the show!
For her bridal makeup, Khloe wanted to look like “herself, but a little bit more glam”. Alyse believes that every bride is unique and is passionate about creating makeup that makes her brides feel confident and amazing. So when the trial yielded a look that Khloe judged to be “gorgeous, but not her”, the pair decided on a classic look that included Khloe’s signature bold lip. It was paired with a romantic vintage-influenced gown, and a stunning bouquet that included huge white King Proteas. Glenn and his groomsmen looked sharp in blue tweed, while the bridesmaids sparkled in sequined pale yellow gowns.
The ceremony venue was something truly unique. The Asylum in Peckham is a Grade II listed building built in 1826 and bombed in World War II. Now a beautifully distressed chapel, it is a magical and atmospheric space to get married, and the couple dressed it up with an abundance of candles and pastel flowers.
