There are so many incredible wedding venues in London, but when it comes to registry offices, few are quite as iconic and historic as Chelsea Old Town Hall. This beautiful building was the location of choice for Brittany and Alex and their January wedding. The couple met for an intimate first look before the ceremony, and followed it up with a romantic stroll through the city streets, before celebrating with champagne at The Phene. The bride looked like a silver screen siren in a slinky gown with a deep illusion V-neckline and white fur stole, perfectly accented with a sophisticated updo by Make Me Bridal pro, Bethany Alden Hairstylist.

Brittany wanted a bridal look that suited her profile and style. To make this look her own, Bethany created a stunning variation on a low bun with lots of texture, leaving a few tendrils out at the front for added softness. The look was accessorised with a beautiful crystal headband. It was the perfect combination of classic romance and glamorous city chic.

Situated midway down fashionable King’s Road, Chelsea Old Town Hall is a magnificent Grade II, Victorian neoclassical building, which has been beautifully restored for use as a ceremony venue. Over the years, many famous couples have walked down these iconic steps as husband and wife: Hollywood stars like Richard Burton and Judy Garland, football legends, even Wallis Simpson, who later married the Duke of Windsor. Despite its rich history, it remains “one of the hippest places to get married” (according to The Independent) and a London landmark.
