Meg and James were married at Wasing Park in Berkshire, in a wedding that perfectly blended modern sophistication and country charm. Think Georgian townhouse meets country barn. To create their dream wedding day, they worked with a network of carefully-selected suppliers, including Make Me Bridal hair pro Cimone Cheveux (who came to the bride through a recommendation). The cherry blossoms were out in full force, creating a gorgeous backdrop for this early spring celebration, and Meg looked simply stunning in her chic sleeved Charlie Brear gown.

Brides with natural curls like Megan can often struggle to find hair artists who understand their hair, but as a curly-haired girl herself, Cimone was a perfect fit. Megan wanted to keep her hair as natural as possible, so Cimone worked with her natural texture and added a fishtail braid on one side, as well as a flower clip as a finishing touch. For the bridesmaids, hair was curled and either pinned to one side or twisted off the face. They also wore white flower crowns or clips to mirror the bride’s. The makeup was done by Make Me Bridal Pro Artist Phoebe Hayter, who met the bride’s cousin (and florist) at a local wedding fair.

The couple, who are both from Berkshire, chose the elegant Wasing Park as their venue. This private estate is situated in acres of glorious Berkshire countryside, and has a feeling of luxury and seclusion. The reception was full of special touches, from the plush velvet furnishings to the lavish grazing spreads, and the Jo Malone candles on every table.
