If you’re dreaming of a seaside wedding, the Grand Hotel Eastbourne is in the perfect location for access to the stunning stretch of shingle beach in Eastbourne. Inspired by this backdrop, a team of local vendors designed a styled shoot with a beautiful boho bridal look that was an homage to the earthY beach palette. The bride rocked a dreamy off-the-shoulder lace wedding dress with a soft layered skirt and a hand-tied bouquet with a mix of fresh and dried blooms. Working together, these service providers were able to create a sweet, bohemian vibe that will inspire any nature-loving bride. For her part, Make Me Bridal pro Claire Reed of Beauty Ninjas played with braids and natural-looking makeup for the ultimate in boho bridal beauty.

For the hair, Claire created a boho braid using clip-in extensions for added length and volume. These are an easy way to achieve the look you want, especially if you have fine hair. Soft and romantic, this loose flowing braid style with loose tendrils framing the face is a great look for a free-spirited bride, whether you’re getting married on the beach, in a field or forest, or in a garden. Skip the veil for this one, as it will cover the braid. Instead, tuck fresh flowers into your hair or opt for a gorgeous headpiece, as Claire did here (from Ritz & Sass).

For the makeup, Claire chose a neutral toned makeup look. A beautiful peach shadow was applied over the lower lid, up to the crease. Peach is a great shade for a bride – it suits most skin tones and adds a lovely natural warmth to the face that is pretty at any time of year. Claire then applied a soft beige shadow in the crease for definition, as well as the outer corners of the eyes. Black liner and mascara finished off the look. Soft peachy-beige tones were also used on the cheeks and eyes for a natural-looking glow that is perfect for the down-to-earth boho bride.
