We love seeing wedding creatives engage in some spontaneous creativity, and sometimes it yields the most amazing results! That was the case with this bridal shoot, which was designed and organised in just twenty-four hours by a group of local wedding talents, including Make Me Bridal hair and makeup pro, Janet White-Ashby & Co. It came about to promote a range of gorgeous handpainted photographic backdrops from Zoom Backdrops. The look was classical and ethereal, almost Grecian, with free-flowing fabrics and effortlessly glamorous bridal beauty. It’s enough to make any bride channel her inner goddess!
Janet created a beautifully romantic look for her model, with a touch of boho. The hair was curled into soft spirals, which flowed over the shoulders and accentuated the soft drape of the dress. At the back, strands were twisted into a soft fishtail braid, and topped with an elegant floral halo. For the makeup, Janet chose a s`moky eye that accentuated the bride’s eye colour, and balanced this with angelic pink lips. The final look would have been at home on any artist’s canvas.
For this shoot, the bride wore a spectacular Muse by BERTA wedding dress from Laura May Bridal with an asymmetric neckline, soft shoulder drape, and ethereal lace detailing. She carried a loose, textured bouquet in muted organic shades with pops of pink, and dried grasses adding bohemian flair.
