Brides looking to create an elegant, ethereal look for their beach weddings, look no further! This gorgeous shoot comes from Make Me Bridal Pro, Suzy Stockwin of Bridal hair by suzy and a talented team of local pros. The style of the shoot was relaxed, faded, beachy glamour. It’s a fresh take on wedding style for 2020, which really emphasises the ethereal element to the images. The vibe is free spirited and sun-kissed, but with a nod to 1950s glam, thanks to the Art Deco backdrop of the Sands Hotel in Margate.
The goal for the bridal looks was to create an effortless, cool girl vibe, with a touch of glamour. The hair styles were chosen to reflect this relaxed aesthetic, as well as to suit each model’s personality and natural beauty. Suzy’s favourite look was Ellie’s bouncy blow dry, styled with the Dyson Air Wrap and decorated with accessories from Victoria Louise. Kelli Waldock completed the look with amplified natural makeup. The models looked like modern day sun goddesses standing in the sea.
A portion of the shoot took place on the sparkling sands of the beach, with the rest in the Sands Hotel, with its vintage grandeur and crisp, clean décor providing a stunning backdrop for the photographs. An Insta-worthy cake and grazing table were laid out, adding to the luxurious scene, and offset by lush flower arrangements. Everything was captured to perfection by videographer Harvey of Meros Productions and photographer Deborah of Dream Photography. Says Suzy: “Together they transcended all my expectations and brought this theme to life!”
